We need your help once more! Can you, in the week of 20-24th October, use your
daily commute to collect some stats for Project Freesheet.....

On your way home, on your way in, can you count the number of free papers on
your bus, carriage, station exit? Basically we need 5 days of stats from the
same place every day - preferably morning and night. See link for stat form to
collate your info - http://www.projectfreesheet.org/images/StatDoc

The information that you are collecting will help the Project Freesheet campaign
gain specific statistics to show to publishers, local councils, government and
members of the public. We would like you to answer the questions (on the stat
form) on your journey home every evening; but if you have the time then please
include your morning commute as well.

We want to demonstrate that not only does free newspaper litter create hideous
amounts of waste but that they do so all across London and not just in the more
central areas. If you are walking home, then count how many street distributors
you pass, or how many free newspapers you see thrown on the floor.

Equally, if you know someone at your office or at home who takes a different
journey to you then get them involved too. The more evidence we gather the
bigger the case study, and the more clear we can make it to everyone how big the
issue of free newspaper waste really is.
