Therefore I must tell you, first of all, what Anarchism is not.
It is not bombs, disorder, or chaos.
It is not robbery and murder.
It is not a war of each against all.
It is not a return to barbarism or to the wild state of man.
Anarchism is the very opposite of all that.
Anarchism means that you should be free; that no one should enslave you,
boss you, rob you, or impose upon you.
It means that you should be free to do the things you want to do; and that
you should not be compelled to do what you don't want to do.
It means that you should have a chance to choose the kind of a life you
want to live, and live it without anybody interfering.
It means that the next fellow should have the same freedom as you, that
every one should have the same rights and liberties.
>From What Is Communist Anarchism? Alexander Berkman.. This was the first
book i read on Anarchism so when AMP attacks the M gallery collective..
Whomever fucked up the food last week with the salt they are being the
very opposite to my understanding of Anarchism and of course this is just
my own view point..
Almost a year on Matilda is not working and i'd guess we need to look at
why The Gig collective can blow of the roof at Matilda as they did on
Monday why The M gallery collective find themselves along with the Gig
collective being the only real Success at Matilda..
Why there is so much infighting people being NEGATIVE to others as has
happened to myself time again..
I cooked food last Thursday only to find ungrateful moron(s) pouring salt
in the food to being very Negative to me on Friday are these people
expecting me to react?
Why are the actions of others making Matilda not work?
3 of the computers in the HackLab are not working because on Saturday
someone decided to take out some of the power supply dispite it being
requested for people not to do this and explained why this is crapp..
Here we have the very real opportunity to not only Impact upon Sheffield
but introduce others to our thoughts and ideas a large amount of people
have passed through Matilda by the Gig Collective and as was said at the
last meeting a wasted opertunity..
There seems for myself to be much pontification and not action and again
the only people i see Making this space work are The Gig collective and
The M gallery collective.
On Monday a member of The M gallery collective come in moved some rubbish
so the gig collective and others did not end up doing this task.
On Sunday R come in and repared a window that had fallen out..
Agian i find myself asking why is there only a few commited people while
others simply just pontificate?
Alright the meeting on Monday will not happen however if there is common
agrement it should happen the following week.
Yes we have been here before but again we need to talk about what is
Matilda, where are we going why have we let one person simply walk off
with 400 pounds and the continued actions of others who i feel are just
fucking up Matilda BY THEIR ACTIONS..
