[matilda] 6am, 2am - no fucking way..

On Saturday 19th Feb, Matilda was again duped into an event that was
ill-thought out, had little or no organisation.. There are 4 kegs of beer
un-opened.. The person who was supposed to open the door simply did not
arrive..

There was a Fire Outside, Windows damaged and the place left in a mess
again, your feet are still sticking to the Hacklab stairs - not that there
is any blame for those who ended up having to run the event..

Such little forward planning also shows very little regard for The LTT and
the Building Herself, do you People? not think other than where you are
going to get off your heads next?

A event was proposed at the meeting last night.. The moments from that
meeting do not give a true repensation of the feeeling of many in that
meeting which was a NO..

I myself muted people would simply walk if the event was to happen til 6am
and many agreed with this stance..

Then it was bounced to the Gig Collective who refused to have any dealings
with the event therefor the K collective are left with drafting the
proposal to come back to the meeting in 2 weeks..

Well, before reading and even if well planned, i will be simply be
BLOCKING this event at that meeting in 2 weeks time as ANY event beyond
midnite puts the whole future of the building, and those involved, in
serious jeopardy..

Such events (free parties) are not a positive for Matilda as we have seen
from those incidents in the past.. Matilda is a social space and should
not be used continuously for such events..
