[pagan-magik] next pagan activist convergence

Hi all

I got back from my trip to Oz a few days ago - it was awesome....

So,

Offlist as well as at the last meeting I went to (in February) we have 
been discussing organising
another pagan activist convergence - an evening of workshops, 
discussions and socialising... One of
the main aims of this event is to get pagans who are involved with 
social justice activism to network
and meet eachother. We figured this would be best done in the context of 
workshops and discussions
perhaps a bit like, but less formal than the ESF event we organised... 
Another aim would be to introduce
activists with a earth-based/pagan spirituality into our methods and 
also to have some skill sharing...

At a recent social, we came up with the plan of having this on May 8th - 
and letting the event coincide
with the usual PMA dark-moon rite. This date should already be kept 
clear in everyone's diaries 8-)

We haven't started talking about details or a venue yet but if anyone 
has some ideas about that please
throw them in...

This is a seperate event to the pagan NVDA weekend camp which will be 
brought up in a different
thread....
