I think what motivated me in this issue was a dislike
of secret information, encryption and people sending
private planning emails to each other offlist. I'd
prefer a list in which all things are discussed openly
to all members with no exclusions or secrecy, even if
illegal projects are being discussed, thus on other
similar lists I've been involved with this has
demanded a tightly controlled archive and recieving
list, thus my own concerns about security. If people
are sending each other private emails about PMA
planning matters or are encypting things (which
doesn't work by the way as all encryption systems have
been cracked long ago), then I shall be feeling
decidedly paranoid on this list.
