[ShareTompkins] infant car seat?

hey sharers!

we got a hand-me-down car seat but it turns out it is a retired model  
that won't pass inspection. does anyone have a more recent model they  
can pass on? it needs to be a rear-facing infant seat that can work  
with a regular safety belt (not requiring a LATCH system). it would be  
ideal if it converted for use with toddlers as well.

we are open to a swap or even cash, just hoping to avoid having to buy  
a new one.
