[sheffield-noborders] Iraqi Kurds under attack: show your support

The Campaign Against Detention and Deportation of Iraqis (CADDI) is holding a meeting this Sunday 25th Sept from 2-4pm at the SADACCA Community Centre, 48 The Wicker, Sheffield.
 
The first hour of the meeting will discuss the response of Sheffield's Iraqi Kurdish community to the desperate situation many of them are facing.
 
The situation is urgent: the Home Office is now sending out letters to all Iraqi Kurdish asylum seekers giving them the "choice" of agreeing to voluntarily return (when the UK Govt deems northern Iraq "safe") or the likely loss of all benefits and accommodation.  These letters must be returned 15 days after they are received and many people have already received them.
 
Non-Kurdish supporters of the campaign are welcome to attend this part of the meeting to offer practical support and show their solidarity.
