[SSC] IMPORTANT: Member profiles

Hi Terry,

The application process for Associate Academic membership and Academic
membership is the same. We plan to have a form on the website in the
next week or two. Membership fees are the same regardless of membership
type: a self-assessed amount equivalent to one hour of your monthly
income per month.

We hope that Associate members will be more than just 'friends of SSC'
although this will vary no doubt and friends are certainly encouraged.
We hope you will volunteer as an external examiner, peer-reviewer of the
intended journal and/or participant at summer schools, among other
things. If there's something you want to contribute, tell us. It's your
co-op.

Please do send us your profile. We want profiles of all members. The
distinction between membership does not imply any kind of intended
hierarchy.

Cheers
Joss
