[SSC] Values

Dear Richard + John,
I think the issue is not so much believe as what we do, so how abour:
SSC is a radical alternative to higher education. It is grounded in the history of progressive education movements, including WEA, Co-ops... etc in the UK and around the world, and the principles on which those movements were based: free education, democracy, peace, equality, happiness and social justice. As part of its project, the SSC will support the creation of new progressive concepts and practices that challenge the notion that education is something to be learned with the idea that knowledge is something to be produced, by teachers and students working in collaboration.
