Just to prove my point I just accidentally sent this to only Dan. Second 
time lucky.

As far as I'm concerned, mostly if one of my emails in reply to
something on the list is 'private' it means that I forgot to hit reply
to all instead of reply. So please feel free to assume that I'm happy
for my emails to go on list even if they are sent privately, just so
long as there is no content about individuals in them, and i don't
specifically say I'm going off-list on a topic. Indeed, I'm usually
happy for anything i put on list to be posted on the web, for instance
my list of upcoming stuff from yesterday, should anyone want to. Of
course, if in doubt, easiest thing is to ask.

Of course, I'm not trying to speak for anyone except myself with that.
