[SSC] Meeting notes 29th March 2011. Important request!!

David and I met with Charles Cooke today (CC'd) to update him on recent
developments. We did not go through the Constitution or Business Plan in
great detail, rather we got his feedback on the costings we'd put
together and the invitation to become members.

I think that the main outcomes of the meeting were that the costings
seem realistic and that we agreed to send him our final constitution and
business plan on April 15th. He will then look at it and advise us on
whether he thinks it is sound. Following that, people who wish to do so,
should meet to sign the constitution which effectively formalises the
co-operative. We can then use this document to open a bank account and
from there open up the membership process.

So here are some dates I would like to suggest:

14th April: Meeting to discuss constitution and business plan in detail.
This will entail a thorough reading of both documents, taking into
consideration all comments received via this discussion list prior to
that date.

15th April: Send final versions of document to Charles (and this list)
for checking.

21st April: Receive documents back from Charles by this date with
comments. Send any comments to this discussion list.

25th April: Meet with final versions of both documents. Sign
Constitution. The SSC co-operative is born!

I will try to arrange the use of Mint Lane on the 14th and 25th.

If you want to attend both meetings but are unable to, please let me
know and I will try to rearrange. Please tell me asap.

As per my notes from our last meeting (below), please do take time to
look at the documents listed below and contribute your thoughts. I have
made more progress on the FAQ. Feel free to edit directly. A revision
history of the document is automatically kept.
